Before you start
Check your access
- Your family member must already appear on a team schedule in RAMP Team.
- Make sure the email address on your RAMP account is current; the documented flow sends the subscription URL there.
Part 1
Copy the link from RAMP Team App
- Open RAMP Team and go to the combined family schedule.
- Tap the calendar icon in the upper-right corner. Some versions also list Calendar Subscriptions in the team menu.
- Choose the option that emails the calendar URL to your account.
- Open the message from RAMP and copy the complete calendar subscription URL without sharing or forwarding it.
Provider note: RAMP has changed its app over time. If these labels differ, look for Calendar Sync, Calendar Subscription, or an email-link option. Do not use a screenshot or ordinary team-page URL.
Part 2
Add the link to UpNext
- Open UpNext Family, go to Settings, choose Connected calendars, then choose Manage or Add → Add calendar.
- On “Where does your schedule live?”, choose Calendar link.
- Expand “Need help finding a calendar link?” and choose RAMP Team; follow the short cue.
- Paste the private subscription URL into the calendar link field, then choose Preview and continue.
- On “Who is this for?”, choose the family member and enter the group name and activity. Season and notes are optional.
- Choose Review import, check the schedule preview, then choose Import calendar.
Part 3
Confirm that it is working
Open Settings, then choose Connected calendars. The new calendar should show its provider, upcoming-event count, and an OK status after the first import. Use Refresh calendars → Check now later to ask connected calendars for current changes.
UpNext displays only a redacted source address after import. It does not show the private path, query, or token again.
Troubleshooting
If the calendar does not load
- If no email arrives, check the address attached to your RAMP account and your junk folder.
- If the calendar icon is absent, open the specific team and look under its menu for Calendar Subscriptions.
- If the current app only opens Apple Calendar and never reveals a URL, use UpNext’s Apple Calendar method instead of guessing the hidden link.
- Make sure you copied a subscription URL beginning with webcal://, http://, or https:// — not an ordinary event page.
- If the provider only gives you a downloaded .ics file, return to Add Calendar and choose Calendar file. That is a one-time import and will not refresh automatically.

How this guide was checked
RAMP’s product page confirms calendar export with automatic updates. The detailed email-link path comes from a public association guide and has not been live-tested in the current RAMP app.
Verification boundary: the instructions were checked against public documentation. No private team account or live family feed was used for this page.
