Add a TeamLinkt calendar to UpNext Family

Before you start

Check your access

• You must be able to open the team in TeamLinkt.
• Use the TeamLinkt website when possible; the iPhone app may send the link directly to Apple Calendar instead of showing it for copying.

Part 1

Copy the link from TeamLinkt

1. Sign in to the TeamLinkt website and select the team from the team menu.
2. Open Schedules, then Schedule.
3. Select Subscribe.
4. Choose the iCal option intended for other calendar services.
5. Copy the calendar URL. Do not post it in chat or send it to anyone who should not see the schedule.

Provider note: If the iCal option does not load in UpNext, return to Subscribe and try the Webcal option. UpNext accepts both webcal:// and https:// subscription links.

Part 2

Add the link to UpNext

1. Open UpNext Family, go to Settings, choose Connected calendars, then choose Manage or Add → Add calendar.
2. On “Where does your schedule live?”, choose Calendar link.
3. Expand “Need help finding a calendar link?” and choose TeamLinkt; follow the short cue.
4. Paste the private subscription URL into the calendar link field, then choose Preview and continue.
5. On “Who is this for?”, choose the family member and enter the group name and activity. Season and notes are optional.
6. Choose Review import, check the schedule preview, then choose Import calendar.

Part 3

Confirm that it is working

Open Settings, then choose Connected calendars. The new calendar should show its provider, upcoming-event count, and an OK status after the first import. Use Refresh calendars → Check now later to ask connected calendars for current changes.

UpNext displays only a redacted source address after import. It does not show the private path, query, or token again.

Troubleshooting

If the calendar does not load

• If Subscribe is missing, confirm that you opened the team schedule rather than a league announcement or single event.
• If the feed is empty, check whether the team has upcoming events in TeamLinkt.
• If UpNext reports that the source rejected the link, copy a fresh subscription URL from TeamLinkt.
• Make sure you copied a subscription URL beginning with webcal://, http://, or https:// — not an ordinary event page.
• If the provider only gives you a downloaded .ics file, return to Add Calendar and choose Calendar file. That is a one-time import and will not refresh automatically.
